Dorcas gave birth on the side of a dirt road in rural Kenya—four babies, all born at just 25 weeks. By the time she reached the hospital, only one remained alive. What followed was an 80-day journey of heartbreak, hope, and the fierce love of a mother determined to see her son survive. This is the story of Bravin—the tiniest baby ever discharged from our newborn unit—and the community that rallied around his life.

We’ve officially broken ground on a major project in partnership with Samaritan’s Purse—bringing 48 new homes and a community center to Kapsowar. This new space will help us welcome more doctors and families while supporting the long-term growth of our hospital and mission.

A team of eight from Heritage Church in Ohio recently spent 12 days serving at Kapsowar Mission Hospital in rural Kenya.
