In our newborn unit, we care for tiny premature babies whose fight for life doesn’t end at breathing — some are also at risk of losing their sight due to retinopathy of prematurity. Because of early screening, timely treatment, and the generosity of donors, the vision of our youngest patients can be protected.

Dr. Celeste has seen patients carrying wounds for decades—some so severe they might have required amputation elsewhere. Using creativity, compassion, and innovative wound vac therapy, she’s helping patients not just heal, but regain mobility, independence, and hope.
One Year of Hope: Care for Expecting Mothers
The First Free Prenatal Visit program at Kapsowar Mission Hospital has now provided over 700 mothers with free, dignified, high-quality care — identifying high-risk pregnancies early and restoring hope to families across our region.
